Gopuff is hiring an Operations Associate to join their operations team in Austin, TX. You'll be responsible for various operational tasks including picking, packing, and managing inventory. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work flexible hours.

You are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team. You have a positive attitude and are eager to take on challenges, whether it's picking and packing items for dispatch or managing inventory. Your drive and perseverance make you an essential part of the operations team at Gopuff.
You are comfortable working with various tools and equipment, including carts and pallet jacks, and you understand the importance of safety and organization in the workplace. You are also flexible with your schedule, ready to work during peak shifts, and can lift up to 49 pounds as needed.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Gopuff's operations run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will also manage the inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, keeping the sales floor clean and organized.
In addition to these tasks, you will handle waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices and contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items. You will be expected to work in various locations, including freezer areas, and maintain a well-organized workspace. Your ability to stand, walk, and move products safely will be essential to your success in this role.
