Your ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You understand the importance of teamwork and are eager to contribute to a collaborative environment.
You have a strong work ethic and are capable of standing and walking for the duration of your assigned shift. You are comfortable lifting up to 49 pounds and handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol. Your attention to detail ensures that you manage inventory accurately and comply with FIFO practices to minimize waste and spoilage.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials efficiently. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will also manage the re-shelving of canceled orders and maintain a clean and organized sales floor and facility.
You will work closely with partner drivers to facilitate smooth operations and contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items. Your role will require you to handle, scan, and move products safely and in an organized manner. You will also be responsible for using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products effectively. Periodically, you may work in freezer locations and navigate several flights of steps throughout your shifts.
