Gopuff is hiring an Operations Associate to join their operations team in Bronx, NY. You'll be responsible for picking, packing, and managing inventory while ensuring a smooth operation. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work flexible hours.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team. You have a positive attitude and are ready to take on various operational responsibilities, including picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. Your drive and perseverance will help you succeed in this role, and you are enthusiastic about contributing to the success of Gopuff. You are capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand and walk for the duration of your assigned shift. You are also comfortable working in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, will be beneficial in this role. You are flexible and can work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play an essential role in the operations team by managing various responsibilities. You will pick and pack items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice, and resolve any discrepancies that may arise. Additionally, you will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, keeping the sales floor and overall facility clean and organized. You will also handle, scan, and move products in a safe and well-organized manner, adhering to strict compliance with FIFO practices to manage waste and spoilage effectively.
