Your ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You understand the importance of teamwork and are eager to collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which will help you manage tasks efficiently. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items up to 49 pounds throughout your shift. Your attention to detail ensures that you can manage inventory accurately and resolve discrepancies effectively.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily responsibilities, as well as cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility.
You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Contacting customers for substituted or out-of-stock items will be part of your duties, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained. You will handle, scan, and move products safely and in an organized manner, using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies. Periodically, you may work in freezer locations and will need to be capable of walking several flights of steps throughout the day.
