You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items up to 49 pounds throughout your shift. You understand the importance of safety and organization in the workplace, and you are comfortable using equipment such as carts and pallet jacks. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers is essential in ensuring a smooth operational process.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily tasks, along with cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility.

You will be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. Your role will also involve contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, which requires strong communication skills. You will work in various environments, including freezer locations, and will need to be adaptable to different working conditions.
