Who you are
You are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team. You have a positive attitude and are ready to take on the challenges of an operations role. Your drive and perseverance will help you succeed in managing various operational tasks effectively. You are comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and can lift up to 49 pounds. You are also adaptable and can work a fluid schedule that includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications such as Google G-Suite will be beneficial in this role. You are eager to learn and grow within the company, and you appreciate the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that operations run smoothly. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will also manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, clean and organize the sales floor, and manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Additionally, you will handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently, using equipment such as carts and pallet jacks. You will be expected to communicate with customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items and prepare quality beverages and food menu items as needed.
