What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches the purchase orders. Managing inventory will be a key part of your role, as you will need to re-shelve canceled orders and maintain an organized sales floor. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage by adhering to FIFO practices. Throughout your shifts, you will handle, scan, and move products safely, using equipment such as carts and pallet jacks. Your ability to communicate with customers regarding substitutions or out-of-stock items will enhance the customer experience. You will work in various environments, including freezer locations, and will need to be flexible with your schedule to accommodate peak shifts.
