You are comfortable handling physical tasks and can lift up to 49 pounds, ensuring that you can meet the demands of the job. You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which helps you navigate daily tasks efficiently.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies that arise. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily responsibilities, as well as cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your role will require you to contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring that they receive the best service possible. You will handle, scan, and move products safely and in an organized manner, using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies. Periodically, you may work in freezer locations and will need to be capable of walking several flights of steps throughout your shifts.
