You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which will help you manage inventory and communicate effectively with team members. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items during your shifts, ensuring that you can handle the demands of the role. Your attention to detail will be crucial in managing inventory and resolving discrepancies.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will play a vital role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice. Additionally, you will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and overall facility.
You will be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. Your role will also involve contacting customers for substituted or out-of-stock items, providing excellent service and communication. You will utilize equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products safely within the facility.
