You are also physically capable of handling the demands of the job, including lifting and moving products safely.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations at Gopuff. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that all products are handled safely and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches the purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies that arise.
You will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, ensuring that the sales floor is clean and organized. Compliance with FIFO practices will be essential as you manage waste and spoilage. You will also be responsible for contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring that they receive the best possible service.
In this role, you will be expected to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will utilize various equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products efficiently. Your ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout your shift will be vital to your success in this position.
