Gopuff is hiring an Operations Associate to join their operations team in Durham. You'll be responsible for various operational tasks including picking, packing, and managing inventory. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work flexible hours.

Your positive attitude and enthusiasm for challenges make you a great fit for Gopuff's operations team. You are comfortable working with a variety of tools and equipment, and you understand the importance of safety and organization in the workplace.
You have the ability to work a fluid schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items up to 49 pounds throughout your shifts. Your attention to detail ensures that you manage inventory accurately and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily responsibilities, as well as cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility.
You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Contacting customers for substituted or out-of-stock items will be part of your role, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained. You will handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently, using carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment as needed. Periodically, you may work in freezer locations and will need to be capable of walking several flights of steps throughout the day.
