You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, which aids in your daily operations tasks. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that the sales floor and overall facility are well-kept. You are also capable of managing inventory effectively, ensuring that all products are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice. In addition, you will manage the inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, maintaining an organized stockroom.

You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, ensuring compliance with FIFO practices to manage waste and spoilage effectively. Your role will involve contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction. You will handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently, using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies as needed.

Working in a dynamic environment, you may also be required to prepare quality beverages and food menu items, contributing to the overall customer experience. Your ability to work collaboratively with partner drivers and other team members will be essential in ensuring smooth operations. You will be expected to adapt to various tasks throughout your shift, including working in freezer locations periodically.
