You are physically capable of handling the demands of the job, including lifting and moving products safely. You are adaptable and can work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily tasks, along with cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your role will require you to contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items and handle, scan, and move products in a safe and organized manner. You will be expected to stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during your shifts, and you may work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts.
