Your enthusiasm for the challenge and ability to maintain a positive attitude will contribute to the success of the Gopuff operations team.
You are comfortable handling physical tasks and can lift up to 49 pounds, stand, and walk for the duration of your assigned shift. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace and are committed to following FIFO practices to manage waste and spoilage effectively. Your attention to detail ensures that inventory counts match purchase orders, and you are proactive in resolving any discrepancies.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the site. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and managing inventory. You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
You will work closely with partner drivers to facilitate smooth operations and will be required to contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items. Your ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, will be essential in meeting the demands of the role. You will also be expected to use various equipment, such as carts and pallet jacks, to move products safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
