You possess a strong work ethic and are eager to take on various operational responsibilities. Your positive attitude and enthusiasm for challenges make you a great fit for Gopuff. You are comfortable lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand and walk for the duration of your shift. You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which will help you in your daily tasks.
Desirable
While not required, having the ability to work a fluid schedule and being available during peak shifts is a plus. Your flexibility will allow you to adapt to the needs of the operations team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Additionally, you will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, keeping the sales floor and overall facility clean and organized. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, ensuring that all products are handled safely and efficiently.
You will contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring that they are informed and satisfied with their orders. Your role will require you to handle, scan, and move products in a safe and well-organized manner, utilizing carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment as necessary. You may also work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, so being comfortable in varying environments is essential.
