You are an enthusiastic individual ready to take on the challenges of an Operations Associate role at Gopuff. You possess a drive and perseverance that helps you thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your positivity and enthusiasm for the task at hand make you a valuable team member. You are comfortable working with various tools and equipment, and you have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications. You are physically capable of standing and walking for the duration of your assigned shift and can lift up to 49 pounds. You are available to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice while resolving any discrepancies. You will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, keeping the sales floor and overall facility clean and organized. Additionally, you will handle waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your responsibilities will also include contacting customers for substituted or out-of-stock items and handling, scanning, and moving products in a safe and organized manner. You will work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts and may need to walk several flights of steps during the day.
