You are comfortable with physical tasks and can lift up to 49 pounds, ensuring that you can handle the demands of the role. You are also adaptable, able to work a fluid schedule that includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, would be beneficial. This knowledge can help you manage tasks more efficiently and contribute to the overall success of the operations team.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials promptly. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will also manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, keeping the sales floor and overall facility clean and organized. Additionally, you will handle waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, contact customers for substituted or out-of-stock items, and safely handle, scan, and move products. Your role may also involve preparing quality beverages and food menu items, contributing to a positive customer experience.
