You are comfortable working with a team and can communicate effectively with your colleagues and customers. You are also physically capable of handling the demands of the job, including lifting and moving products safely.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, will be beneficial in this role. You should be flexible with your schedule and available during peak shifts, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Gopuff's operations run smoothly. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and managing inventory. You will ensure that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders and invoices, resolving any discrepancies that arise. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. You will also handle, scan, and move products in a safe and organized manner, using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies. Your role may require you to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, and you should be prepared to walk several flights of steps during the day.
