Who you are

You are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team. You have a positive attitude and are ready to take on various operational responsibilities, including picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You are comfortable managing inventory and ensuring that all products are handled safely and efficiently. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace and are willing to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

You possess a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which helps you navigate daily tasks effectively. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items up to 49 pounds throughout your shift. You are also adaptable and can work in different environments, including freezer locations, as needed.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their everyday essentials promptly. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and managing inventory to ensure accuracy. You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, adhering to FIFO practices to manage waste and spoilage effectively.

You will communicate with customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring they are informed and satisfied with their orders. Your role will require you to handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently, utilizing equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies. You will work closely with your team and report directly to a Site Leader, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
