You are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on various operational responsibilities. You possess a strong work ethic and are ready to contribute positively to the team at Gopuff. Your enthusiasm for challenges and ability to work collaboratively with others will help you succeed in this role. You are comfortable with physical tasks and can lift up to 49 pounds, ensuring that you can handle the demands of the job effectively. You are also adaptable, able to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily tasks, along with cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. Your role will involve contacting customers for substituted or out-of-stock items and using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products around the facility. Periodically, you may work in freezer locations and will need to be capable of walking several flights of steps throughout the day.
