Desirable

Your familiarity with handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol is a plus, as is your ability to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts. What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice. Resolving discrepancies will be part of your daily responsibilities, as will managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders. You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and order.

Your role will require you to manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. You will contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, demonstrating your commitment to customer service. Handling, scanning, and moving products in a safe and organized manner will be essential, as will your ability to stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts.

You will utilize carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to move products, ensuring that operations run smoothly. Your capability to walk several flights of steps periodically throughout the day will be necessary, as will your willingness to prepare quality beverages and food menu items when required.
