You understand the importance of attention to detail, especially when it comes to managing inventory and ensuring customer satisfaction. You are physically capable of performing tasks that require standing, lifting, and moving products throughout your shift. You are flexible with your schedule and can adapt to varying shift times, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies that arise. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily responsibilities, as well as cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your role will involve contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, and you will handle, scan, and move products in a safe and organized manner. You will use various equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to facilitate the movement of products. Additionally, you may work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, and you should be prepared to walk several flights of steps as needed.
