Gopuff is hiring an Operations Associate to join their operations team in Woodlawn, MD. You'll be responsible for various operations tasks including picking, packing, and managing inventory. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work flexible hours.

Who you are
You are an enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take on the challenges of an Operations Associate role. You possess a strong drive and perseverance, which are essential for managing various operational responsibilities effectively. Your positive attitude and willingness to learn make you a valuable addition to the Gopuff team. You are comfortable working with a variety of tools and equipment, and you understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You are also capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand and walk for the duration of your assigned shift.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, would be beneficial. You are flexible with your schedule and can work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and managing inventory to ensure that physical counts match purchase orders. You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, as well as managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. You will need to communicate with customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items and handle products safely and efficiently. Additionally, you will work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts and may need to walk several flights of steps during the day.
