You are a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team. You possess a strong work ethic and are willing to take on various operational responsibilities, including picking and packing items for dispatch. Your enthusiasm for challenges and ability to maintain a positive attitude will contribute to the success of the operations team at Gopuff.
You are comfortable handling physical tasks and can lift up to 49 pounds. You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that inventory counts match purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Your organizational skills will help maintain a clean and efficient workspace, contributing to the overall success of the operations.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will report directly to a Site Leader and play a crucial role in the daily operations of Gopuff. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and managing inventory effectively. You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, ensuring compliance with FIFO practices to manage waste and spoilage.
You will interact with customers to handle substitutions or out-of-stock items, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Your role will require you to use various equipment, such as carts and pallet jacks, to move products safely and efficiently. You will also need to be flexible with your schedule, as the position may require you to work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
