Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in people operations, ideally with experience in a fast-paced environment where you have successfully managed onboarding and offboarding processes. You are confident and knowledgeable, yet curious and humble enough to learn from others. You enjoy working collaboratively and building trust through openness and involvement, ensuring that employees feel supported and valued.
You are motivated by helping managers and engineers build great teams — providing practical guidance and ensuring strong people practices. You understand the importance of compliance and statutory requirements, and you are adept at navigating these complexities while maintaining a people-first approach. You thrive in environments that require balancing structure with pragmatism, and you are committed to fostering an outstanding employee experience.
Desirable
Experience in a global organization is a plus, as is familiarity with the semiconductor or AI industry. You may have worked with diverse teams across different regions, which has equipped you with a unique perspective on people operations in various cultural contexts. You are also comfortable using HR technology and tools to streamline processes and enhance employee engagement.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the delivery of all People Enablement activities for Graphcore's Poland entity, ensuring that all statutory, policy, and compliance requirements are met. You will act as the primary point of contact for Polish employees and managers, collaborating closely with global colleagues in People, Finance, Workplace, and Engineering to ensure smooth operations and a consistent global experience.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing onboarding programs that set new employees up for success, as well as offboarding processes that respect the contributions of departing employees. You will provide practical guidance to managers on best practices for team building and employee development, ensuring that they have the tools and resources they need to foster a positive work environment.
As a trusted advisor, you will help managers navigate complex people-related issues, offering insights and solutions that align with Graphcore's values and operational goals. You will also play a key role in promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and open communication among team members.
