Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in robotics engineering, with experience in designing and implementing robotic systems for industrial applications. Your expertise includes working with CAD software and understanding manufacturing processes, which allows you to effectively collaborate with customers to optimize their workflows. You are proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python, enabling you to troubleshoot and enhance robotic systems.
You have experience in working with mechanical engineers to design work cell layouts and modify robotic end-of-arm tools. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly helps you lead rigorous system testing practices and create comprehensive documentation for customers. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring customer success through effective support and training programs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the implementation and deployment of robotic solutions tailored to customer needs. You will collaborate with customers to understand their manufacturing processes, taking measurements and documenting existing workflows. Your responsibilities will include designing work cell layouts, modifying robotic tools, and overseeing the fabrication and testing of components.
You will set up and test robotic cells, ensuring that all control components, such as sensors and relays, are installed and functioning correctly. Your role will also involve leading proof of concepts for customers, demonstrating the capabilities of GrayMatter technologies. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to continuously improve customer experiences and develop new applications.
