You have a strong background in robotics engineering with a focus on systems and applications — your experience includes designing and deploying advanced robotic systems tailored for specific manufacturing processes. You are proficient in AutoCAD and Python, enabling you to create simulation models and configure robotic systems effectively. Your collaborative nature allows you to work seamlessly with customers and cross-functional teams, ensuring that the solutions you develop meet their needs and improve operational efficiency.
You understand the intricacies of automated surface finishing and mobile platform applications — your expertise enables you to observe and analyze existing manufacturing processes, taking measurements and collecting data to inform your designs. You are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results from concept through deployment, ensuring that every project you undertake enhances productivity and reduces costs for your clients.
What you'll do
As a Senior Robotics Engineer at GrayMatter Robotics, you will join the Government Projects team and be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced robotic systems. You will collaborate directly with customers to understand their manufacturing processes and requirements, configuring GMR-AI for optimal tool paths. Your role will involve creating simulation models to analyze coverage, cycle time, and quality, ensuring that the solutions you provide are both effective and efficient.
You will work cross-functionally with mechanical, robotics, and product teams to engineer custom robotic cells and integrate control components. Running proof-of-concepts will be a key part of your responsibilities, allowing you to demonstrate the capabilities of the systems you design. You will also be involved in delivering consistent, high-quality results, ensuring that the robotic solutions meet the specific needs of each customer.
