Guidepoint is hiring an Industrials Consultant to provide insights for institutional investment and corporate clients. You'll monitor public companies, create teleconferences, and ensure content quality. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of buy-side analyst experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least 10 years of buy-side analyst experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of investment research with a bottoms-up, fundamental approach. You are well-versed in multiple subsectors within Industrials, including aerospace & defense, multi-industrial, building products, and transportation & logistics. Your ability to stay current on news flow and issues that matter to the buy-side is crucial for success in this role. You thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and possess an outgoing personality that allows you to engage effectively with professionals at all levels.
What you'll do
In this role, you will monitor a coverage universe of public companies within the Industrials sector, tracking earnings releases, investor presentations, SEC filings, sell-side research, and industry news. You will create and moderate teleconferences on timely topics featuring experts from Guidepoint’s network, aiming to produce actionable insights for clients. Additionally, you will review teleconference transcripts to ensure the quality of content, ensuring that the insights provided are both relevant and valuable to clients.
