You have a background in accounting or finance and are eager to work in a client-facing role where you can make a significant impact. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside top-tier professionals and Big 4 auditors. Your ability to analyze financial information and identify key issues is essential, as is your skill in building strong relationships with client management. You are adaptable and enjoy the flexibility of working in various settings, whether in the office, remotely, or on-site with clients.

You are detail-oriented and have experience in preparing operational due diligence for complex transactions, such as acquisitions and IPOs. Your expertise in accounting projects, particularly in carving out business units or subsidiaries, sets you apart. You are knowledgeable about SEC and regulatory requirements, including the preparation of financial documents like 10K’s and 10Q’s. You are also familiar with new ASC accounting standards and enjoy engaging in process improvement projects.

What you'll do

As a Consultant at CFGI, you will take ownership of your projects from start to finish, ensuring that you deliver high-quality results that meet client expectations. You will conduct interviews with client management to gather necessary information and analyze financial data to identify key issues. Your role will involve writing reports and participating in meetings to discuss findings and recommendations with clients.

You will work on a variety of accounting advisory projects, gaining exposure to different industries and enhancing your expertise. Your ability to integrate with client teams as a subject matter expert will be crucial, as you provide support for operational senior accounting tasks. You will also be responsible for preparing financial and regulatory information in accordance with SEC requirements, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all documentation.

In addition to your technical skills, you will be expected to foster strong relationships with clients, helping them navigate complex financial challenges. You will enjoy a collegial environment where you can learn from experienced professionals and contribute to the success of your clients.
