Who you are
You have a strong background in human resources, ideally with experience as an HR Business Partner supporting technical teams. You thrive in environments with rapidly changing priorities and are comfortable navigating ambiguity. Your ability to build relationships and act as a trusted advisor to managers is key to your success. You understand the importance of performance management, employee engagement, and team dynamics in fostering a positive workplace culture. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvements and are skilled at implementing systems that support business growth. You have a passion for helping organizations scale effectively while maintaining a strong focus on employee well-being and development.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner closely with leaders in Engineering, Product, and Design to support their teams through various HR initiatives. You will provide guidance on performance management, employee engagement, and team dynamics, ensuring that the culture aligns with Handshake's mission and values. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing HR processes that facilitate growth and scalability. Your role will involve advising managers on day-to-day people topics and helping to create an environment where employees can thrive. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that HR strategies are aligned with business objectives and that employees feel supported in their roles.
