Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in securing partnerships with large enterprises. Your experience includes managing the full sales cycle from account planning to negotiation and closing, demonstrating your ability to thrive in high-pressure environments. You are a self-starter who enjoys working autonomously and can navigate complex deal cycles with senior HR and business leaders. Your proactive outreach skills have allowed you to create pipelines and land significant accounts in previous roles.
You understand the nuances of working with Fortune 500 companies and have the ability to align their needs with the solutions Handshake offers. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to articulate value propositions clearly and effectively. You are comfortable with travel and hosting customers, ensuring that you build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
What you'll do
As a Strategic Account Executive at Handshake, you will focus on landing new partnerships with Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 employers. You will inherit a defined book of accounts and be responsible for the entire sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals. Your role will involve high autonomy, requiring you to develop account strategies and execute them effectively. You will engage with senior leaders in HR and business to understand their needs and demonstrate how Handshake can meet them.
You will be expected to create and manage a robust pipeline through proactive outreach, leveraging your network and industry knowledge. Your ability to close complex six-figure partnerships will be crucial to your success in this role. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure that the solutions you propose align with Handshake's offerings and the needs of your clients.
