You are capable of performing routine checks such as temperature monitoring and probe calibration, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You are a team player who communicates effectively with your line manager and colleagues, raising any concerns promptly to maintain a safe working environment.

What you'll do

As a Logistics QC Operative, you will be responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of goods received from suppliers and internal transfers. You will ensure that all items meet the required standards, including checking use-by dates and ingredient quality. You will also verify that outbound pallets are staged correctly and loaded according to carrier specifications.

You will carry out routine processes to monitor food safety, including temperature checks and calibration of equipment. You will actively participate in maintaining high standards within the inbound and outbound areas, demonstrating a commitment to safety and quality in all your activities.

In this role, you will raise and escalate any food safety and quality issues following the internal escalation process. You will ensure clear and effective communication with your line manager regarding any incidents or concerns. Your proactive approach will help maintain a safe and efficient logistics operation.
