Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in engineering management, leading teams to build and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions. Your background includes a strong understanding of cloud technologies and deployment platforms, particularly Kubernetes, which you have used to streamline engineering workflows and improve service delivery.

You possess excellent leadership skills, enabling you to guide and mentor a team of skilled engineers. You are adept at providing technical direction and fostering collaboration across product and infrastructure organizations, ensuring that your team is aligned with the company's long-term technology vision.

You are passionate about creating equitable workspaces and fostering a culture of belonging within your team. You understand the importance of empowering your team members to be agents of change, and you actively promote an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure would be a plus, as would familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools. You are also encouraged to bring any experience you have with microservices architecture or service-oriented design principles to the table.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead one of the most critical engineering groups at Highspot, responsible for architecting, building, and running the foundational resources and infrastructure. You will oversee the development of a Kubernetes-based deployment platform that simplifies the process for engineers to ship enterprise-grade services at scale.

You will play a key role in driving Highspot's long-term technology vision and platform strategy, ensuring that the infrastructure platform meets the growing scale and intelligence needs of our customers. Your responsibilities will include setting clear objectives for your team, managing performance, and facilitating professional development opportunities.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with product and infrastructure organizations to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables. You will also be responsible for ensuring day-to-day operational excellence, addressing any challenges that arise, and implementing solutions that enhance team productivity.

You will actively participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing your insights on technology trends and infrastructure best practices. Your leadership will help shape the future of Highspot's technology landscape, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of sales enablement solutions.
