Who you are

You have 3+ years of experience designing modern digital products, with a strong portfolio showcasing your end-to-end web design work. You thrive in ambiguity and can move quickly without sacrificing quality, balancing multiple priorities while keeping the customer experience at the center of every decision. Your ability to conduct customer interviews and usability tests allows you to leverage both qualitative feedback and quantitative data to validate and iterate on designs. You are skilled at collaborating with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions, and ship features that create simple, logical experiences for users.

You understand the importance of making smart tradeoffs between speed, learning, and competing priorities. Your experience includes leading design reviews with external partners and building strong cases for your design decisions. You are passionate about creating elegant, user-centric solutions that solve real problems and are excited about the opportunity to innovate within the fintech space.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design end-to-end web experiences, owning the full process from concept through launch. You will conduct customer interviews and usability tests, leveraging both qualitative feedback and quantitative data to track customer behavior, analyze metrics, and run experiments to validate and iterate on your designs. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions, and ship features that balance customer needs with business goals and technical constraints. Your work will involve creating simple, logical experiences that make complex workflows feel effortless.

You will lead design reviews with external partners, building strong cases for your design decisions and ensuring that the customer experience remains at the forefront of every project. You will also have the opportunity to innovate by creating new products that address customer problems and help scale Hopper's successful fintech offerings across new sales channels. Your contributions will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Hopper's fintech products and enhancing the overall customer experience.
