You have a strong background in content design, with experience in creating user-centered content strategies that resonate with diverse audiences. Your ability to understand the emotional connection people have with food allows you to craft compelling narratives that enhance user experiences. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that content aligns with product goals and user needs. You are adaptable and open to feedback, continuously seeking to improve your work and the impact it has on the community.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate your ideas clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your experience in the grocery or e-commerce industry is a plus, as it gives you insights into the unique challenges and opportunities within this space. You are passionate about accessibility and inclusivity in content design, ensuring that all users can engage with the products and services offered.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development of content strategies that support Instacart's mission to provide essential grocery services. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to create content that enhances the user journey, from onboarding to ongoing engagement. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research to understand the needs and preferences of our community, as well as analyzing data to inform content decisions.

You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining content guidelines that ensure consistency and quality across all platforms. Your work will involve writing, editing, and curating content that is not only informative but also engaging and relatable. You will participate in brainstorming sessions and workshops to generate innovative ideas that push the boundaries of traditional grocery content.
