What you'll do
As a Staff Product Engineer at Intercom, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of customer service technology. You will contribute to the development of the Intercom Customer Service Suite, working on both the AI agent Fin and the Helpdesk functionalities. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable systems that can handle increasing service requests from a diverse customer base. You will collaborate closely with product managers to define the technical strategy and ensure that the engineering team is aligned with the company's goals.
You will lead by example, guiding your team through complex technical challenges and ensuring that best practices are followed in code quality and system design. Your role will involve conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating knowledge sharing among team members. You will also engage in strategic discussions with the Engineering Manager to help shape the team's direction and priorities.
