You have a strong background in systems engineering, with experience in managing and improving infrastructure. You are familiar with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and have hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders allows you to represent your team in technical discussions and forums. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for performance improvements and cost optimization within infrastructure.

You understand the importance of governance in infrastructure management and are skilled at making design decisions that anticipate potential technical and product issues. What you'll do

As a Systems Engineer in the Computing Squad, you will be responsible for enhancing Nubank's foundational infrastructure, which supports the majority of the company's workloads. You will work closely with your team to identify areas for improvement in performance, costs, and governance. Your role will involve representing the team in various technical forums, where you will document and negotiate solutions with stakeholders across different levels.

You will also contribute to the Computing product strategy, ensuring that the infrastructure aligns with the company's goals. Your responsibilities will include anticipating technical and product issues, making informed design decisions to mitigate risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. You will play a key role in setting high technical standards for the team and ensuring that Nubank's infrastructure remains robust and efficient.
