You are comfortable working with co-location partners and have a knack for designing efficient server layouts that meet operational needs.

You are familiar with various technologies and are eager to solve interesting problems. Your hands-on experience with server, network, and hosting-related equipment enables you to participate in the provisioning and deployment processes. You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all service components are documented and monitored.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering and architecture teams to design solutions that maximize performance and efficiency. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the solutions lifecycle ensures that pre-operational sign-offs are obtained, allowing for smooth operational transitions.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS is a plus, as is familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker. Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform can set you apart, enabling you to automate deployments and manage infrastructure efficiently.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and managing InterSystems’ hosted solutions. You will work with co-location partners to design appropriate cage, rack, and server layouts, ensuring the ongoing provision of space, power, and cooling. Your hands-on involvement in the provisioning and deployment of server and network equipment will be crucial to maintaining high service levels.

You will lead and participate in the deployment of new applications and changes, ensuring that all components are documented and integrated into operational processes. Your role will also involve performing hardware qualification testing on new platforms, certifying them for production deployments.

Collaboration with stakeholders across the solutions lifecycle will be key to your success. You will ensure that all necessary pre-operational sign-offs are obtained, allowing for seamless transitions into operational phases. Your contributions will help maintain the high levels of availability and performance that clients expect from InterSystems.
