InterSystems is seeking a Solution Architect to join their US Professional Services team in Boston. You'll be responsible for delivering effective solutions and collaborating with various teams to meet customer expectations. This role requires expertise in AWS, Azure, and SQL.

You have a strong background in solution architecture with a focus on healthcare technologies — your experience allows you to design and implement effective solutions that meet customer needs. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to translate complex technical concepts into business language that stakeholders can understand. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales, product management, and development teams to create innovative solutions. Your technical expertise includes familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, as well as proficiency in SQL for database management. You are detail-oriented and capable of producing comprehensive design requirements and functional specifications. You have a customer-centric mindset, always aiming to maximize opportunities for client satisfaction.
Desirable
Experience with InterSystems products such as IRIS, Health Connect, and HealthShare would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools will help you effectively collaborate with project managers and implementation teams. A background in healthcare or related industries will enhance your ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
What you'll do
As a Solution Architect at InterSystems, you will be responsible for designing and owning technical and functional architecture artifacts for HealthShare customers. You will produce input for Statements of Work (SOW) and technical delivery planning, ensuring that solutions align with customer expectations. You will leverage the InterSystems product line to inform your solution designs, advising the sales team during pre-sales engagements by conducting product fit and gap analyses. Your role will involve collaborating with project managers to provide realistic estimates for the level of effort required for technical work, ensuring that timelines and resources are effectively managed. You will engage with customers throughout the implementation process, ensuring that technical designs meet their use cases and functional requirements. Your contributions will be crucial in delivering successful implementation projects that unlock the power of data for our clients.
