Who you are

You have a strong background in account management, particularly in customer retention, and are passionate about enhancing customer relationships. Your proactive approach ensures that you effectively manage customer renewals and identify upsell opportunities, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and growth. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to convey company messages and value propositions clearly. You take an active interest in increasing customer happiness and have a follow-up mindset that drives your success in this role.

You are familiar with various databases and CRM systems, specifically Salesforce, which you use to manage customer interactions and track renewal processes. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Success, and Finance, enables you to drive the renewal process efficiently. You understand the importance of timely communication with customers regarding their subscriptions and contracts, ensuring they are well-informed and satisfied with their services.

What you'll do

As a Customer Retention Account Manager at JFrog, you will be responsible for the renewal of customer subscriptions in your assigned territory. This includes notifying customers of upcoming renewals, discussing any changes to their contracts, and providing accurate quotes directly to them. You will manage the cadence for effective renewal forecasts and projections, ensuring that you have a clear understanding of your territory's renewal landscape.

You will drive the renewals process in collaboration with the Strategic Sales team, working to preserve and improve customer contracts and relationships. Your role will involve owning, driving, and managing the renewal process in collaboration with Customer Success, Finance, Legal, Deal Desk, and Procurement teams. You will ensure that renewals are processed accurately and on time, contributing to the overall success of the company.

In addition to managing renewals, you will identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities upon contract renewal to maximize customer growth. Your proactive approach will help you uncover additional needs that customers may have, allowing you to present tailored solutions that enhance their experience with JFrog. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout their journey with us.
