You have a strong background in product management, particularly within the chartering or maritime sectors — your experience allows you to navigate complex workflows and understand the needs of charterers, brokers, and owners. You possess a strategic mindset and are comfortable leading initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring that products meet market demands and client expectations.
Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams is exceptional — you thrive in environments where you can work closely with engineering, design, and commercial teams to deliver impactful solutions. You are data-driven and understand how to leverage market intelligence to inform product decisions, ensuring that your team is always ahead of the curve.
You have a proven track record of managing product roadmaps and prioritizing features based on user feedback and market analysis — your analytical skills enable you to define success metrics and measure the impact of your products effectively. You are also adept at conducting user research and A/B testing to refine product offerings continuously.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the development of Kpler's chartering product suite, focusing on integrating market data, vessel intelligence, and execution workflows — your leadership will guide the team in creating user-friendly platforms that simplify complex trade information. You will be responsible for defining the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and market needs.
You will collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into actionable tasks, overseeing the development process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Your role will involve regular interaction with clients to gather feedback and understand their challenges, which will inform future product enhancements.
You will also be responsible for stakeholder management, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged throughout the product lifecycle. Your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in articulating the product's value proposition to both internal teams and external clients.
