Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing strategic accounts and driving revenue growth. With at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, you excel in identifying new business opportunities and developing sustainable sales pipelines. Your ability to build relationships at all levels within an organization, especially with CxO executives, sets you apart. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at navigating complex procurement processes to close large deals.

You are results-driven and possess strong negotiation skills, allowing you to craft compelling business transformation proposals that resonate with potential clients. Your experience in the manufacturing or technology sectors is a plus, as it enables you to understand the unique challenges faced by your clients. You are comfortable with outbound initiatives such as cold calling and networking, and you leverage social media to engage with prospects effectively.

Desirable

Experience in the 3D printing or advanced manufacturing industry would be advantageous, as it provides you with insights into the products and solutions you will be selling. Familiarity with digital transformation trends and how they impact manufacturing processes will help you articulate the value of Markforged's offerings to potential clients.

What you'll do

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager at Markforged, you will take ownership of driving business growth through strategic sales initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the largest enterprise accounts. You will develop a robust sales pipeline by leveraging your network and engaging in outbound sales activities. Crafting strategic proposals that align with client needs will be a key part of your role, as will nurturing relationships with existing customers to maximize revenue potential.
