Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing strategic accounts and driving revenue growth. With at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, you excel at building relationships with C-level executives and navigating complex procurement processes. Your ability to identify new business opportunities and develop a sustainable sales pipeline sets you apart. You thrive in a competitive environment and are motivated by achieving targets and closing large deals.

You possess strong communication and negotiation skills, allowing you to craft compelling business transformation proposals that resonate with potential clients. Your experience in the manufacturing or technology sectors is a plus, as it enables you to understand the unique challenges faced by engineers and manufacturers. You are a dynamic and results-driven individual who enjoys the thrill of the hunt in sales.

Desirable

Experience in the 3D printing or advanced materials industry would be advantageous. Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and the ability to articulate the value of innovative manufacturing solutions will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager at Markforged, you will be responsible for driving direct business growth by managing both existing enterprise accounts and acquiring new customers. You will proactively identify new business opportunities and develop a robust sales pipeline through outbound initiatives such as cold calling, networking, and leveraging social media. Your role will involve crafting strategic proposals that address the specific needs of your clients, ensuring that you deliver tailored solutions that drive business transformation.
