You are an experienced commercial attorney with a strong background in payments and financial services law. You have a proven track record of providing legal guidance on complex transactions and understand the intricacies of working with payment processors and networks. Your ability to navigate legal challenges in a fast-paced environment makes you a valuable asset to the Payments Partnerships team.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. What you'll do
In this role, you will be a key legal partner for the Payments Partnerships team in APAC, providing strategic legal guidance and support on a wide variety of complex transactions. You will work closely with payment processors, Payment Networks, and other partners to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on regulatory matters, and managing legal risks associated with payment partnerships.
You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement legal strategies that support business goals. Your expertise will help shape the legal framework for innovative payment solutions and partnerships, ensuring that Meta remains a leader in the payments space.
