Meticulous is hiring a Founding Account Executive to lead sales efforts as the first sales hire. You'll work closely with engineers to drive customer engagement and sales growth. This role requires 5+ years of experience in sales, particularly with technical buyers.

Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in an account executive or sales engineer role, particularly selling to technical buyers. Your track record includes top performance in previous roles, ideally having been part of a president's club or sales club. You excel at engaging with deeply technical buyers and understand their needs and challenges. Your experience spans both larger and smaller companies, giving you a well-rounded perspective on sales dynamics. You are eager to accelerate your career in a fast-growing startup environment and are comfortable with the responsibilities of being the first sales hire.
What you'll do
As the Founding Account Executive at Meticulous, you will be responsible for driving sales and customer engagement as the first sales hire in a small team. You will leverage your experience to engage with upper-tier mid-market and lower-tier enterprise customers, focusing on selling a product that has demonstrated extraordinary product-market fit. You will work closely with a team of world-class engineers who will support you in each deal, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the technical benefits of the product to potential customers. Your role will involve traveling to visit customers on-site, fostering relationships, and understanding their needs to tailor your sales approach effectively. You will also play a crucial role in scaling the marketing channels as the company grows, capitalizing on the inbound leads that are currently driving sales. Your success will be measured by your ability to close deals with annual contract values ranging from $100k to $1m+.
