Who you are
You have a strong background in marketing with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the technology or software industry. You understand the nuances of the Japanese market and can translate global marketing objectives into effective local campaigns. Your analytical skills allow you to track performance metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with sales teams to drive demand generation and pipeline growth.
Desirable
Experience in managing marketing budgets and demonstrating clear accountability for ROI is a plus. Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including social media and email marketing, will help you succeed in this role. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment and are willing to travel as needed to support marketing initiatives.
What you'll do
As the Area Marketing Manager, you will own the marketing strategy for Japan, ensuring alignment with global and APAC objectives. You will develop and execute localized marketing plans that resonate with the target audience, leveraging market insights to inform your approach. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering integrated marketing initiatives such as lead generation campaigns, webinars, and events. You will act as the key marketing partner to the Japan sales team, supporting their objectives and driving revenue growth.
You will also be responsible for managing the Japan marketing budget, tracking spend, and reporting on performance metrics. Your role will require you to localize and activate global campaigns across various channels, ensuring that all marketing efforts are tailored to the Japanese market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that marketing initiatives are effectively executed and aligned with overall business goals.
