Minitab is seeking a Mid-Market Manager to drive growth across their mid-market customer base in Japan. You'll manage a portfolio of accounts and lead the full sales cycle. This role requires strong consultative sales skills and experience in a competitive environment.

Who you are

You are a high-performing sales professional with a proven track record in managing mid-market accounts. You thrive in a consultative sales environment, acting as a trusted advisor to your customers and driving growth through strategic relationship building. Your ability to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities sets you apart, and you are comfortable leading discovery conversations and delivering compelling product demonstrations.

You have experience in maintaining accurate pipeline and forecasting data within a CRM, ensuring that your sales processes are disciplined and effective. Your strong communication skills allow you to build long-term relationships with technical, business, and executive stakeholders, fostering customer satisfaction and advocacy. You are results-driven and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, demonstrating strong forecast accuracy.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and grow a portfolio of mid-market accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for prospects and customers. You will lead the full sales cycle, from discovery and qualification through to closing new business, renewals, and expansion opportunities. Your responsibilities will include managing renewals while identifying opportunities to increase annual recurring revenue and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

You will actively contribute to territory planning, forecasting, and quarterly business reviews, ensuring that your strategies align with the company's growth objectives. Your success will be measured by your ability to maintain a healthy, high-quality sales pipeline and build strong customer relationships that lead to long-term advocacy.
