You are a strategic leader with a proven track record in executive recruiting, ideally with experience in building and governing executive search functions. You possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust with C-suite executives and business leaders. Your hands-on experience in executive search execution allows you to set high standards for candidate experience and communication. You are adept at designing and implementing processes that align with organizational leadership commitments, ensuring consistency in assessment practices. You have a keen understanding of the tools and technologies necessary for effective talent mapping and candidate assessment, and you are prepared to advocate for future investments in these areas.

Desirable

Experience in a high-growth technology company is a plus, as is familiarity with the unique challenges of recruiting for VP-level and above positions. You are comfortable navigating complex organizational structures and can effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Your ability to analyze data and metrics related to recruiting processes will help you continuously improve the effectiveness of the executive search function.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing MongoDB's Global Executive Search Operating Model, defining standards and processes for all VP+ searches. You will personally lead a small number of critical executive searches, ensuring that the quality of candidates and the overall experience is exceptional. As the primary strategic advisor to the CEO and other senior leaders, you will build trust in the internal recruiting team's capabilities. You will design and implement a consistent methodology for candidate assessment that aligns with MongoDB’s Leadership Commitments. Additionally, you will utilize existing tools while advocating for necessary future investments in specialized intelligence platforms and advanced assessment capabilities. Your focus will be on operational excellence, ensuring that the executive recruiting function is a critical driver of MongoDB's transformation.
