Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and an MBA from a Tier 1 college, along with 5 years of experience in demand management or a related field. Your strong analytical skills enable you to monitor key metrics such as revenue per unit and gross margin effectively. You possess high competency in written and verbal communication, allowing you to prepare business documentation and present to senior stakeholders with ease. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working well with others while also being able to operate independently with minimal supervision.
You are results-oriented and have a keen eye for detail, which helps you analyze platform-level metrics to identify problems and leverage strengths for better ROI. Your experience includes liaising with finance teams to ensure accurate P&L reporting and reconciling discounts with brand associates. You are adept at influencing various teams and stakeholders within the organization to meet goals and project timelines, showcasing your strong interpersonal skills.
Desirable
Experience with sales forecasting and trend analysis is a plus, as is familiarity with pricing strategies across different platforms. You are innovative and can develop strong analyses that shape new dimensions of pricing, contributing to the overall success of the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will monitor key metrics such as conversion rates and average order value to ensure that the pricing strategies align with the company's financial goals. You will work closely with the analytics team to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data to evaluate and improve future performance. Your responsibilities will include setting up reporting processes for operational streamlining and analyzing trends related to inventory and revenue.
You will influence various teams and stakeholders to meet project timelines and goals, ensuring that pricing operations run smoothly. Your role will also involve developing innovative analyses that can lead to new pricing strategies, ultimately shaping the demand on the platform. You will be responsible for ensuring that discounting and pricing for key brands on other portals are monitored for parity, pre-empting customer switching.
