Who you are
You have a strong background in data architecture and modeling, with a focus on revamping existing data assets to align with organizational growth. Your experience includes working with cloud-based big data platforms and you are familiar with the latest open-source components and SaaS solutions. You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to tackle complex data challenges effectively.
You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring that data solutions meet the needs of various stakeholders. Your communication skills allow you to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, fostering a collaborative environment. You thrive in a fast-paced setting and are capable of leading large-scale projects with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Desirable
Familiarity with transactional database design is a plus, as is experience with visualization tools like Power BI. You are also comfortable working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, and have exposure to cloud data platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the transformation of Myntra's data architecture, focusing on the strategic overhaul of approximately 400 data assets. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the new data model supports the organization's growth objectives while maintaining operational efficiency. You will work closely with data consumers to develop self-serve offerings that enhance their experience and empower them to make data-driven decisions.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions that can handle billions of events per day. This includes building analytical models that provide insights to drive business decisions. You will also oversee the integration of best-of-breed open-source components into the existing data platform, ensuring that the architecture remains modern and efficient.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will partner with various teams across the organization to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions. You will also mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise in data modeling and architecture to help them grow in their roles.
